The LifeGuard Has CE Approval

CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA.

The letters "CE" are the abbreviation of French phrase "Conformité Européene" which literally means "European Conformity". The term initially used was "EC Mark" and it was officially replaced by "CE Marking" in the Directive 93/68/EEC in 1993.

To our knowledge, the LifeGuard is the only OPD 'roll bar' for quad bikes that has the CE mark. This was signed off on the 30/10/2017 allowing the LifeGuard to be sold into the UK and Europe.

The LifeGuard is the world's first 'flexible roll bar' for quad bikes, and reason it is flexible, is because the unit itself is less likely to cause injury in the event of a rollover.

These are now known as an OPD (operator protection device).
