Advanced Tyre Sealant - every ATV rider will benefit from this!
‘TRUE BLUE BUNCTURE GOO’! This revolutionary Australian product has been popular & proven in its home country and is now being ‘discovered’ in NZ.
Especially suited for ATV, Motorcycle and UTV tyres, this is scientifically designed to stop or delay punctures and works on the basis that “prevention is better than the cure” it is used as a preventative reducing the inconvenience of delays and down time, or to repair a leak or puncture.
True Blue Goo works by centrifugal force, creating an even coat on the inner wall of tyre. When the tyre is punctured the escaping air drags the goo into the affected area, causing fibers in the solution to entwine and clot, completely sealing small punctures without affecting the tyres properties! In severe cases the operator can enjoy increased safety by the prolonged time taken to control the machine.
Advantages of True Blue Puncture Goo:
• SAFE: Non –Toxic, does not use Ethyl Glycol as in other brands
• ECO FRIENDLY: - The only brand that is biodegradable
• BETTER SEALING: - Not oil based, like other brands
• ECONOMICAL: - Only 1litre needed for 4 wheel ATV’s

How True Blue Puncture Goo Works:
Centrifugal forces create an even coat of Goo on the inner wall of the tyre or tube.
When the tyre is punctured the escaping air drags the Goo into the affected area. Fibres in the solution entwine to create a clot, reducing the volume of escaping air in minor punctures. The Goo that does escape dries upon exposure to the atmosphere to form a flexible but lasting seal. The properties of the tyre are not changed by this action and the cured plug reduces damage to the belting and ply’s from outside contaminants. In severe instance that cannot be sealed. The operator will enjoy an increased safety factor by the prolonged time the operator has too bring the affected machine under control.
TrueBlue Puncture Goo can be used as a preventative reducing the inconvenience of delays and down time. Or as a minor puncture fix after the event has happened.
TrueBlue Goo’s ability to maintain tyre pressures does not relieve the operator from visual tyre checks prior to each trip. We strongly advise that regular tyre checks are carried out by a knowledgeable and competent tyre professional on a regular basis.
Sealing Capabilities:
TrueBlue Puncture Goo has the ability to temporarily seal quiet large intrusions maintaining vehicle mobility. The size of the intrusions will depend on a number of factors, i.e. the thickness of the rubber at the intrusion, its location, and the amount of Goo available. TrueBlue Goo has been successful in sealing sidewall punctures, bead leaks and rim problems, a failing with most other tyre sealants. TrueBlue Goo’s fluidity (an attribute from the R & D team) is the key factor. Sidewall problems may require more Puncture Goo as the sealant must cavitate over the affected area at low revolutions, or alternatively be removed and rolled or bounced manually to facilitate the Goo to the affected area. TrueBlue Goo has been accredited with sealing 12-16mm intrusions in farm vehicles and 22mm in truck tyres.
TrueBlues Puncture Goo’s fluidity permits the Goo to cavitate, saturating the side walls, bead and rim at low revolutions. This coats the entire inner cavity eliminating air migration due to porosity and poor bead seating. At higher speed, centrifugal force removes the Goo to the inner periphery of the tread area in a uniform and balanced layer. Repeated or severe puncturing will change the Goo’s constancy, adversely affecting TrueBlue Goo’s ability to maintain these properties due to the loss in moisture level.
Advantages of TrueBlue Goo:
* Reduces tyre problems, providing for a safer vehicle.
* Increased operator safety by increasing the time that the tyre takes to deflate.
* Prolongs tyre longevity and reduces tyre wear, making your dollar go further.
* 1 solution for all your needs. Reducing stock and confusion.
* permits future patching and permanent repairs without affecting adhesion.
* Does not ball in the tyres affecting wheel balance.
* No adverse affect on tyre rubber.
* A very long shelf life.
* Reduced maintenance, due to reduced air migration, reducing overheating, ply and tread separations.
* Compatible with other plugging methods to allow in field repairs to very large intrusions of ATV’s.
How to Install:
Shake untill contents are mixed. Remove valve core from the valve stem, and rotate to 7 o’clock.
Using the tube applicator, snip the bottles resealable cap 3mm from end. Push tube over
both cap and valve stem. Apply the appropriate quantity. Upright the bottle and use the air in
the bottle to clear the valve stem of any remaining Goo. Replace valve core. Inflate to the tyres
MAX, recommended tyre pressure. Spin tyre to distribute the Goo over the inside of the tyre or
tube inner wall. Monitor tyre pressure, if not change in pressure reduce tyre to operating
pressure. Monitor tyre at regular intervals until satisfied the puncture is repaired.
If difficulty is encountered administering the Goo into a tube. It is most common that the Stem
and the hole for the stem have not been lined up correctly and are overlapping. A 5/32-.3 5mm
twist drill will clear the stem and the blockage. Rotate drill by hand! And “Don’t drill through the
tubes inner wall”.
Angular stems maybe cleared with a flattened flexible wire or whipper snipper nylon cord
flattened on the end.
With tubeless tyres ensure there is not direct or soluble matter still in the hole. Don’t leave
puncture hole at bottom straight after repairing.
Will Not Cure or Ball Inside the Tyre:
People often ask, “If TrueBlue Goo cures from exposure to outside air, then why doesn’t it cure
by the air inside of the tyre?” TrueBlue Goo transforms the tyre and rim into a sealed air
chamber. As the vehicle is driven and the temperature of the tyre increases, a portion of the
liquid base vaporizes within the tyre assembly’s inner air cavity, as the tyre cools, the moisture
condenses back into the formula. The inside air actually becomes part of the system. The
sealed air chamber prevents outside air from entering or inside air from escaping. Constant air
pressure maintenance is not required. We recommend that tyres and air pressure be inspected during routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs. TrueBlue Goo’s ability to maintain constant air pressure does not relieve the driver from conducting visual inspections prior to each trip.
The flexing of the tyre and the normal heat build up allows TrueBlue Goo to seek out and eliminate common air loss problems (referred to as porosity, air migration and bead leaks). TrueBlue Goo then transforms the tyre assembly into a sealed air chamber, capable of maintaining proper air pressure. Thereafter TrueBlue Goo conditions the rubber in order to retard dry not and aging (hardening) of the casing. One treatment will provide additional longevity and cooler running tyres for the legal tread life of the tyre.
What is Rubber Recovery?
Rubber recovery within a tyre, is very important in conjunction with TrueBlue GOO. When a tyre is punctured, the rubber is forced open by the penetrating object. The wound is actually much smaller than the puncturing object.
Rubber has memory and it will recover to it’s original shape after being subjected to adverse conditions or stress factors. When the penetrating object is removed, the rubber recovers and the wound closes (a tyre that is old, worn out and/or dry rotted will have little or no rubber recovery).
A penetrating object left in a tyre for any extended period of time causes the rubber to temporarily lose it’s ability to recover. After removing the puncturing object, it is recommended to immediately flex the tyre to reactivate the rubber’s memory. As the wound closes, TrueBlue GOO is held in place by the strength and integrity of the tyre and will then create a positive secure repair/clot.
Eliminates most Flats and Blowouts
The majority of flats and blowouts are a result of driver negligence. The number one cause being excessive heat generated from under inflation. The overheated, underinflated tyre becomes soft and can be penetrated very easily. However, under inflation creates additional problems such as tread separations, ply separations and zip ruptures.
All of the above are primarily caused by porosity; natural air migration exists in all tyres to some degree. TrueBlue GOO reduces air migration and prevents most damage that would be created by underinflation, thereby preventing most related blowouts. Do not be fooled by cheap, imported tyre sealant! The sealing capabilities of True Blue GOO is unparalleled by any other tyre sealant in the world. (see last paragraph)

Reasons to Avoid Imported Tyre Sealant
All imported tyre sealants have “anti freeze”, because the countries of origin have a perma frost zone. “Ethyl Glycol” the basis for these products is oil based, it is non-biodegradable and is highly toxic. These products are distinctive by their fluorescent colours, green, pink, yellow and a recent addition, fluro blue. It is also used as Anti Freeze in radiator additive.
It is well accepted oil and rubber are not good together. Rubber will soften, perish and swell when exposed to oil. The oil under pressure, quickly penetrates deep into the inner tube or tyre inner surface, making reliable repairs almost impossible to achieve. Glues and vulcanizing will have reduced adhesion and bonds generally fail. Severe rubber removal with a burr, can still result with the oil contaminating the surface being prepared.
