New, exciting attachments for your Quad or UTV.

Ag-Tech Industries Ltd has now been given the New Zealand agency and distributorship for a selected range of popular Swisher and Agri-Fab ATV & UTV products. These products will be a welcome addition to the ‘Trax Equipment’ range of ATV cabs and accessories which are well known throughout NZ.

Direct from the USA, these attachments are a great investment for farms, lifestyle blocks, large gardens, hunting, camping etc, saving a huge amount of effort and time.

The gear is well designed and especially good for the larger quads. The unique ‘QuickSwitch’ system is mounted on the quad, enabling the interchangeable blade, dump bucket or front forks to be attached, detached and swapped in a matter of seconds. A leaf spring directly to the wheels takes the weight off the suspension and spreads the load to all four wheels. For the UTV the mount connects to the 2 x 2 receiver and the same interchangeable implements can be attached. This system won the American innovation award in 2008.

Other gear from the USA is part of the new range, including steel mesh carrier baskets, plastic cargo boxes, ATV seed spreader, drag harrows,  tow-behind tiller and roller, tyre chains and loading ramps, all of which can be found in Trax Equipments new products catalogue available. Eighteen years ago, Dargaville based Ag-Tech Industries introduced the “Quad-Pod”, a new product at the time when the stock horse was disappearing from New Zealand farms.
The idea of the Quad-Pod was that it mounted only on the front carrier and with its roll up back, kept the back carrier free. It also had a fold up hood for better weather. It was patented and has had a ready market ever since, selling over 4000 to NZ and around the world.
As time has gone on the carriers on most new quads have become smaller and lighter, barely being able to support the weight of the steel framed Quad-Pod if bullbars are not fitted to the Quad.
Ag-Tech industries (which now brands its extensive range of ATV accessories as Trax Equipment), have gone back to the drawing board and come up with an all new cab to overcome these problems.
The “Pro-Pod” has a lightweight high tensile aluminium frame with a specially made molded plastic tool box at the front. This cab is now also supported at the back, relieving the front carrier from stress. A windscreen wiper and side roller doors can also be fitted.
